An excellent Bordeaux at an attractive price. Complex, structured, rich and with great potential for aging that it would have been nice to exploit, if were it not that, in the meantime, I am getting older too.more reviews

This vintage is exceptional and promises to be memorable in years to come. . .
A leading cru in the vineyards of the Perrodo family (owners of Labégorce), this 15-hectare estate equipped with state-of-the-art equipment wears its ambitions on its sleeve... Formerly known as the Château Marquis d'Alesme Becker, we can doubtless rely on this magnificent Château for years to come. Indeed, everything has come together to bring forth a very great wine. This vintage confirms the ascendance of the cru with this lovely bottle that promises to be a memorable wine in a few years... Full and well-rounded, this is a very good deal for lovers of Margaux!!!

Tried this wine today and wow, the tannins are just amazingly strong. It needed almost 2 hours for flourish and I fully agree with the fact that it is a wine that will improve with time. I would personally add another 3 to 5 years. Full bodied, intense Margaux, still very young 2015.
