A really “juicy” Pinot noir. Long bold finish but that ruby color that everyone loves, a little overpriced in comparison to other burgundies to be found heremore reviews

A seductive, powerful, velvety wine! In short, another triumph from the Château de Meursault...
Its deep purple hue is answered by complex fragrances of red fruits and Morello cherries melded into an elegant oakiness. The palate attacks with freshness before revealing a wine of growing power that leaves an impression of generosity. Roundness and breadth that will reveal themselves alongside a beef fillet with ceps...A ready-to-drink Savigny-lès-Beaune Premier Cru!

CHATEAU DE MEURSAULT

The Château de Meursault is a piece of history, its origin dates back to the 11th century. Its wine-growing part was only developed in the 19th century by the Serre family. Since then, it has been a mecca for tourism and Burgundian folklore, since every year the famous Paulée is celebrated there the day after the sale of the Hospices de Beaune. The estate was bought in 2012 by Olivier Halley, a descendant of a pioneer of large retailers, the Boisseaux family remaining the owner of the 60 hectare vineyard, 23 of which are first growths. The estate offers a wide range of appellations from the Côte de Beaune: Pommard, Puligny, Savigny, Beaune, Meursault...
