The Chapoutier family settled in the Rhone valley in 1808 and there became an emblematic figure. Since the end of the ’90s, Michel Chapoutier took control of the family house and developed the organic work to best reveal the fruity side and the character of the land. The meticulous work of his team led to mineral and energetic wines which gain an intensity after a few years ageing. No doubt that Michel Chapoutier enhanced the quality level of his wines in a spectacular way. In the same time, he managed to make his merchant house grow thanks to investments in Roussillon, Provence and even Australia.
