Everything has been done to produce the best: hand-picking, manual sorting, destemming, grape by grape selection, traditional vinification and ageing for 21 months in barrels. The result: this Languedoc wine is superb. No doubt, it is a very great wine! A top-of-the-range cuvée to try ASAP...
Powerful wine with an unusual freshness in the mouth for this region. Full-bodied tannins that goes well with red meats. Good acidity/sugar balance.
For lovers of the Gayda winery, this wine won't disappoint! En Passant is a blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Cinsault. The Syrah is matured in barrels for more than five years and contributes richness and a slight oaky aspect to the wine, while its Cinsault counterpart lends the whole its indulgent fruity aromas. A perfect mix for an original red wine. This exceptional wine deserves to be aerated for an hour before tasting to leave room for all its mouthwatering flavours. En Passant - you can't pass it up!
Interesting blend of Syrah and Cinsault.
Medium+ intensity nose of blackberry, ripe strawberry, black cherry, plum and white pepper.
Medium- acidity, medium(-) body with medium slightly dry tannins, high alcohol, medium- flavour intensity and medium finish.
Good structure and acceptable balance.more reviews

A real jewel of Languedoc, this red is sure to take you far off the beaten track! This blend of five varieties is a complete, lively and full-bodied wine. This perfectly masterful red (considered by the winery itself as the second wine to the famous Chemin de Moscou) can only bring everyone into agreement in terms of conviviality, so unifying is its lively, spicy character! A truly quaffable wine that will really cause a stir among your guests from the moment they set eyes on the thoroughly original label. An ideal accompaniment to your apéritifs and meals with friends! Once again, the Gayda winery has succeeded in producing a perfect marriage of fun and great quality... and the success of Freestyle just keeps on going!!!
