LEAVE YOUR REVIEWBoth wines satisfied me, particularly the Chateauneuf du Pape by Xavier Vignon, which I found to be of fine quality as well as good structure. Overall, I recommend it
A nice box of Châteauneuf du Pape, rather profitable when we see the price per unit. However we are not in the presence of a bottle of great ageing.
To be drunk within 2 to 3 years.
A great box for Chateauneuf du Pape lovers. A real treat at an unbeatable price. The Xavier Vignon bottle is the better of the two, with a fruity presence and a fairly long finish on the palate.
I tasted the Chateauneuf du Pape de Xavier Vignon 2017. It's excellent in every way, very well made and if I have one regret it's that I drank it a little early, it will benefit from being drunk in 4 or 5 years!
Châteauneuf du Pape 2020 Domaine Durieu: a pleasant wine on the palate. Its tannins, spice and red fruit notes give it a delicious flavour. Cuvée anonyme 2017 Xavier Vignon: does not deviate from its know-how and reputation. Superb.
A good classic Rhone wine, Syrah and Grenache. Wait for it or decant it. Strong and tender, ideal for meat meals or a good aperitif !!!!!
This boxed set is representative of the quality of the wines from this exceptional terroir. The wines are warm and complex, with intense notes of ripe fruit and spices. A long finish on the palate, with plenty of tannin, ideal with toasted meat.
Good value for money, with a selection that represents the diversity of Châteauneuf. Perhaps deserves a few more years to express its full potential.
