CHATEAU PICHON LONGUEVILLE COMTESSE DE LALANDE 2004 - 2EME CRU CLASSE

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Bordeaux / Pauillac AOC / 13 % vol

"A supreme success for the vintage and a must-have buy. Exceptional." Robert Parker
With consistent quality, Château Pichon Longueville de Lalande produces wines in the image of its magnificent terroir. This wine has a beautiful nose, almost opulent, with black cherries, blueberries, a hint of undergrowth, pine and freshly rolled tobacco. A touch of tar continues throughout with wonderful definition. The palate is medium-bodied, very well-balanced with a mastered opulence. A silky texture, almost Burgundian, on the finish. A superb Pauillac!

CHÂTEAU PICHON LONGUEVILLE COMTESSE DE LALANDE

Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is an illustrious Cru Classé from Pauillac that came about in 1850 with the splitting of the previous Château Pichon into two parts - Pichon-Baron and Pichon-Comtesse. Surrounded by Latour vineyards, this estate has built its international reputation with its full-bodied and deliciously smooth wines. Today, the domaine belongs to the Rouzard family (Louis Roederer champagnes) which is aiming to make this Cru one of the great models of Bordeaux.
