On the nose blackcurrant and blackberry which is reflected nicely on the palate. Beautiful deep red-ruby characteristic of Mouvèdre. There is a hint of the juniper in the background which I guess reflects the the sun drenched Languedoc vegetation (Garrigue). Perfect with a rbust sheeps cheese.more reviews

A favourite of both our experts and the Guide Hachette 2019, this is a cuvée imbued with the identity of its terroir and a must-try!
Cultivated on a terroir of clay and limestone gravel and matured in a tank for 18 months, Le Chant des Pierres is a superb cuvée that seduces with its delicacy and complexity. True to the typicity of this appellation that we adore, it reveals seductive notes of garrigue...A tasting experience that is 100% pleasure awaits you - and at this price, don't deprive yourself!

Dark ruby colour. On the nose cassis, blacburry and ripe black cherry. On the palate there is perfect balance. Abundance of ripe cherry and cassis with some spicy notes. Long enjoyable finish with nice tannins at the end. Some herbal notes as well. Very complex a beautiful and enjoyable wine.
