Gregory Pérez, the owner of Bodegas y Viñedos Mengoba is a true enthusiast who began his career in 1998 at Château Cos d'Estounel. The plots of this estate extend over the terroirs of Espanillo, Valtuille, Villafranca Du Bierzo and Carracedo, in the heart of Bierzo, in Galicia. The soils are slate, limestone and rocky, and benefit from a mountainous climate with Atlantic influences. Soil work is done in an ancestral and purely artisanal way, using two cows (Guinda and Jardinera), and phytosanitary treatments are naturally reduced thanks to climatic conditions (altitude, ventilated areas, draining land, etc.).
