Black colour, leather, powrful...it was great combination with lamb. I would buy it again as this wine is surely to have potentials to age for another 10 years.more reviews

A rare pearl from the northern Rhône! All lovers of Hermitage are always enchanted by this now LEGENDARY cuvée!
The little sister of the legendary La Chapelle, the sweeter La Petite Chapelle has little to envy its big sibling in its finish, particularly in this highly successful vintage. Its elegant nose of sweet spices, dark fruits and peony introduces a powerful and harmonious palate with fine tannins and a very long finish. A pure marvel of magnificent potential!

Very elegant. Deep dark red with complex mild aromas of red fruits, brambles, spices, leather, certain smokiness, liquorice. On the palate full-bodied with racy acidity & mild but powerful tannins. Rich flavours of raspberries, cherries, blackcurrants with pepper, leather, liquorice. Long finish.

Great wine.

Drinking OK now with enough decanting time, but I think it will be even better in a few years time.

Very good value for the quality.

On my second order now!

Gorgeous, the syrah as it should be. Red ripe fruits. very dense but still delicate. subtle tanins. Ready to drink already but could as well lay in cellar for few years

This cuvee gets better and better. And I very much like the 2014 vintage in Hermitage, because it is lot fresher than 2015. Buy with confidence, and give it a few years in the cellar. 10 in you can.

PAUL JABOULET AINE

Created in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet, this house was then taken over by his sons: Paul and Henri Jaboulet. In 2006, the Frey family, from along ancestry of champagne winegrowers and also the owner of the famous Château la Lagune, bought the Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné with the ambition to reconnect the once successful house of the 1990s with connoisseurs worldwide. Caroline Frey, oenologist, ensured the successful recovery of property, and helped marry talent and new production techniques with a respect for ancient methods and wisdom. Traditional vineyard work and respect for the environment which produces our wine by leaning on sustainable agriculture consolidates this Maison as a producer of wines marked with a true identity and has thus allowed the continuity of this of this iconic Rhône Valley house
