CHÂTEAU COUHINS-LURTON 2014

0,75 L White Wine / France / Bordeaux / Pessac-Léognan AOC / 13 % vol / 100% Sauvignon blanc

A white Pessac-Léognan recommended by Neal Martin, the successor of Robert Parker!
Adored by the specialist press, this Pessac-Léognan makes good on its promises: citrus, white and yellow flowers and a note of oak. After a few years in the cellar this wine will acquire a lovely mineral complexity. This exquisitely rich 100% Sauvignon Blanc 'punches above...expectations' (Neal Martin, The Wine Advocate). A real success from the Château Couhins-Lurton!

CHÂTEAU COUHINS-LURTON

Château Couhins-Lurton is a wine estate of around 25 hectares located in Villenave. Founded at the end of the 17th century and passed through the following century in the hands of the Blanchereau family, wealthy Bordeaux notaries. In 1967, André Lurton rented this vineyard. In 1970, he acquired part of this estate which had become the property of the National Institute for Agronomic Research. He operates it today under the name Couhins-Lurton with the title of Cru Classé de Graves.
