HERMITAGE - LE CHEVALIER DE STERIMBERG 2015 - MAISON PAUL JABOULET AINE

0,75 L White Wine / France / Rhone wine / Hermitage AOC / 13,5 % vol

A very fine white Hermitage, ample and generous, promising excellent ageing potential
Among the wineries belonging to Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné, Le Chevalier de Sterimberg offers a particularly rich and complex Hermitage in which notes of ripe pears, pastries, honey and caramel jostle each other, anchored by a delicate oakiness. Unanimously hailed by the press, this cuvée possesses exquisite delicacy and elegance.

PAUL JABOULET AINE

Created in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet, this house was then taken over by his sons: Paul and Henri Jaboulet. In 2006, the Frey family, from a long ancestry of champagne winegrowers and also the owner of the famous Château la Lagune, bought the Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné with the ambition to reconnect the once successful house of the 1990s with connoisseurs worldwide. Caroline Frey, oenologist, ensured the successful recovery of property, and helped marry talent and new production techniques with a respect for ancient methods and wisdom. Traditional vineyard work and respect for the environment which produces our wine by leaning on sustainable agriculture consolidates this Maison as a producer of wines marked with a true identity and has thus allowed the continuity of this of this iconic Rhône Valley house
