A homage to the Pompadour family, this cuvée is first and foremost the most accessible of the great Languedoc
wines from this cooperative. From behind its intense, purple-glinting hue emerges a powerful nose of red fruits and blackberry, bringing to mind garrigue and spices as well as hot stones warmed in the sun. Roundness and silk assert themselves on the palate, which is brightened by delicate notes of vanilla. A delicately restrained wine combining power, elegance and subtlety, and worthy of Madame de Pompadour herself.
