What a lovely surprise! Not a common grape variety. Really interesting spectrum of flavours. It has great review from the critics and who am I to disagree with them! Excellent nose, mouth and a savoury finish. Well done! more reviews

A pure Négrette of fascinating aromatic intensity!
The Château Baudare vineyard is located on the old terraces of Tarn, 20km from Toulouse. Settling in to the family estate in 1995, David Vigouroux (fifth generation) has contributed to the renown of the Négrette grape through his Frontons of highly consistent quality. It was in 2008 that this cuvée, Perle Noire, was first produced, and, ever since, David Vigouroux has carried on cultivating Négrette, that dark variety unique in the world... Straddling power and elegance, with perfectly ripe fruit, this pure Négrette with its velvety appearance will make you weak at the knees!!!
