I really like Jeff Carrell's wines. This one is from Morillon grapes, which is southern France name for Chardonnay. It has a sweet note to it, so if you don't want crisp and dry, but prefer some floral sweetness this one might be for you. I like the dry whites better, but this one is good value.

A food friendly Bordeaux. There is a hint of fruit but one that is pleasantly understated in a well rounded and satisfying red that is not overpowering but is a good accompaniment to most meals and situations.
