GEWURZTRAMINER 2015 - EVIDENCE - GUSTAVE LORENTZ

0,75 L White Wine / France / Alsace / Alsace AOC / 14 % vol / 100% Gewurztraminer

AB (organic wine) EU organic farming
This new wine from the Maison Lorentz has hit the bullseye: an organic Gewürztraminer of remarkable delicacy for the price!
Traditionally, Gewürztraminer is served at apéritifs or with strong cheeses. But with its peachy, delicately rosy and sweet-spiced nose and its pronounced exotic fruit aromas, this organic cuvée also goes marvellously with foie gras or dishes of world cuisine. Its fresh and well-balanced palate, free of heaviness and excessive sugar, makes for a delicately-scented Gewürztraminer at an equally delicious price!

LORENTZ GUSTAVE

Founded in 1936 on the Bergheim hillsides in the heart of the Alsatian vineyard, the Gustave Lorentz estate has 33 hectares of vines all grown organically. This Alsatian estate defines its vintner job in these words: " one can only be a vintner with a real passion: the ruggedness of the natural environment, the endless work it needs and the noble results achieved each year demand that passion that drives us. This approach results on a homogeneous and well-calibrated range, combining a regular good quality and a great availability of the wines...one of the restaurants' favourite estates!
