An exceptional bottle and vintage for this essential domain. A very great wine in an affordable budget. Very happy to own a bottle to taste it in 2024.more reviews

'This is a sophisticated, precise wine from Olivier Bernard that could be one of top wines of the vintage.' - Neal Martin -
Taken at the start of the 1980s to the highest level of quality in the Graves region by Paul Richard, the Domaine de Chevalier is today in the hands of the Bernard family, which plies its trade in the same spirit. This vintage is a great triumph worthy of the 2010, and offers magnificent laying-down potential! A real gem, this high-class Pessac-Léognan won't leave you indifferent...

Full and elegant in attack, the palate then retains its charming and tasty side, finesse and complex aromas, in harmony with the nose (blackcurrant, blackberry, spices). Its melted tannins reveal a subtle race, particularly noticeable in the finish.

A very good wine that needs no introduction, perhaps to age a littleK. Tasted with red meat and cheese, it is quite strong in the mouth, textured, one of my favorites, intended for lovers of good wine.

DOMAINE DE CHEVALIER

The wine-making approach adopted does not try to put fruit at the fore at all costs. The quality of extraction and period of barrel ageing generate highly complex, but not heavy, wines with great freshness and aromatic persistence. Domaine de Chevalier is one of the best in Pessac-Léognan.
