A great Côtes du Rhône. Drinking very nicely now. Showing black fruits with chocolate Oak vanilla flowers coffee and peppercorn. Full bodied and bold with medium acidity and nice legs. Big and bold with firm tannins on the finish. Feels like a California Cabernet Sauvignon.more reviews

A 94/100 awarded by the world's greatest wine critic to a wine from this appellation... Rare enough to be emphasised with insistence. An intense and complex cuvée with a background of aromatic power! Great blend!
Medium intensity nose of plum, blackberry, cherry, licorice, pepper, violet, cured meat, leather and olives.
Medium+ acidity, medium+ body with medium silky tannins, high flavour intensity and medium+ finish.
Great structure, really good balance, fruit and ageing potential.

lovely depth and flavour, quite rich in berry and fruit notes, think plum, blackcurrent with a touch of cocao. Very deep flavour with a very consistent finish.

An excellent Côte du Rhône: intense and very powerful. Great depth of many flavors: currants, cherries, spices and licorice, just to name the most obvious. You should always have a bottle ready just in case.

Lots of coffee and burned aromas, ripe dark and red fruit, meaty and earthy notes. High alcohol, elevated but ripe tannins, balanced acidity, also a burned aftertaste.

Fabulous blend of north syrah and southern grenache. Don't be fooled by the cote du rhone label.

XAVIER VIGNON

Xavier Vignon is one of the most renowned oenologists in the Rhone wine region. He has worked as a consultant to more than 200 wineries in the Rhone Valley and has gained a worldwide reputation for his expertise and collaboration on the best wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. He started his own production in 2002, and the winery is now known for wines of exceptional quality and Xavier Vignon's own style of wine, both of which make him a successful winemaker. Elegant and well-balanced wines that beautifully reflect the terroir, because terroir and minerality are the philosophy of his work and not only in wine production, as he also runs an oenological institute, where he explores these aspects. His wines obtain the highest scores in the Robert Parker Guide.
