Being a fan of Margaux, I could not help but acquire a bottle of the prestigious Château Margaux. Nevertheless, considering the price, I preferred to try the second wine in 2010, which is at its peak and I can tell you that it is worth the detour!more reviews

Never Pavillon Rouge has been as close to Château Margaux!
Pavillon Rouge has progressed significantly in recent years, taking advantage of warmer weather and improvements in working tools, to become one of the best second wines in Bordeaux. The excellent climatic conditions of the vintage have enabled a new approach to be taken, with Château Margaux no longer considering this cuvée solely as a second wine. And what a success! Aromas of velvety plum, impregnated with fig and blackcurrant jam, soft and supple texture with an infinitely generous roundness, long and persistent finish. One of the greatest second wines of the First Growths!
