Heidsieck & CO Monopole Champagne is one of the oldest Houses in the region. Indeed, it was founded by Florens-Louis Heidsieck, in 1785: he created a business selling wool and wines in Reims, which he named "Heidsieck & CO". Very soon, he abandoned the trade of wool to devote himself entirely to Champagne. For the record, an underwater Swedish expedition found the wreck of the Jönköping, at the eastern peak of the Baltic Sea, 64 meters deep; discovering 2,400 bottles of champagne Heidsieck Monopole & CO 1907. Some vintage bottles were auctioned for a cool $8 million! Today, Heidsieck & CO Monopole is an internationally renowned champagne brand, popular among conoisseurs, which combines tradition, history and modernity.
