Great red wine of assembly, Escudo Rojo marries the richness of Chilean and technical mastery of Baron Philippe de Rothschild SA. He combines four traditional varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, planted on plots that are carefully selected for their limited yield. The grapes are harvested by hand and each variety is vinified separately in the bodega. The wine is then assembled and raised about 12 months in French oak barrels.

Escudo Rojo is characterized by an intense aromatic complexity, a balanced structure and a lingering finish. It has good aging ability.
