This grape variety is originally coming from the Burgundy region known under the name " Pinot Beurot ". It represents about 2270 hectars in Alsace which is about 14,7 % of the total production.

One of the most remarkable wine from Alsace, that combines a strong fruitiness, heady, always dry and so typical for the region. Its generous character, its delicate fruitiness with a hint of smoke makes it an ideal accompanion for your meals.

The vintage 2005 is excellent in Alsace and this Pinot Gris has riped in excellent conditions and been harvested when fully ripe. Dry vinification with 7 g of residual sugar. It has fermented in steel tanks without any new wood. It has been bottled in spring 2006 in order to keep the whole freshness of the fruitiness and make it a beautiful wine to keep.
