Second wine from the famous Château Léoville Las Cases, the Clos du Marquis is considered as a cru ans as one of the biggest second wines of Bordeaux. This is due partly to its history (created in 1904), partly its exceptionnel quality, that is confirm year after year.
The 2003 is a total success. Deep ruby colour, perfectly well-balanced with silky tannins soyeux, an abundant flesh with delicious notes of black cherries and moka. Beautiful length. Can be opened today (carafes) and in the forthcoming 12 years.
