Ample, supple and fond, this little Bordeaux surprised us for its price. Far from all lean and flat standards of all kinds, the Château Coulonge immediately seduced us by its explosive quality-price-pleasure. In the middle of the jungle for Bordeaux at reasonable prices (more than 60 samples tasted in this category for this selection), this wine has unanimously been chosen by our tasters.

Round, soft, light, but enough structure to give the whole value of matter. Its notes of red fruits (strawberry, cherry) speak perfectly between flavours of vanilla and liquorice. While the 1 year long aging in oak barrels "pushes" its greediness, but that is what is expected of a Bordeaux at this low price. Unnecessary to make the poetry on his future or his wine, he is ready to drink now, smooth and delicious, to share immediately with friends.
